⚽ Match Insights and Analysis – Soccer 13 – S13 V1

  • Leeds vs Liverpool: Leeds badly out of form, Liverpool far stronger in every department. Away win with goals expected.
  • Bournemouth vs Chelsea: Bournemouth vulnerable defensively, Chelsea trending upward. Clean away win likely.
  • Man City vs Sunderland: City too strong at home. Comfortable 1 with high scoring potential.
  • Spurs vs Brentford: Spurs inconsistent, Brentford dangerous on counters. Safer to stay with 1X.
  • Everton vs Forest: Everton solid and in top form. Home win with low scoring looks correct.
  • Newcastle vs Burnley: Newcastle far better structured. Clean home result expected.
  • Bristol vs Millwall: Tight matchup; Bristol slightly stronger but Millwall can defend. 1X fair.
  • Ipswich vs Coventry: Ipswich shaky, Coventry better on transitions. X2 the sharper angle.
  • Preston vs Wrexham: Preston more stable but Wrexham score often. 1X with BTTS fits.
  • QPR vs West Brom: West Brom more consistent and defensively better. Away win likely.
  • Sheffield Utd vs Stoke: Sheffield strong at home, Stoke lack creativity. Home win expected.
  • Southampton vs Birmingham: Southampton dominant in midfield. High chance of goals.
  • Swansea vs Oxford: Swansea in trouble; Oxford more organised. Clear away win.

Summary: Liverpool, Man City, Everton, Newcastle, Sheffield United and Southampton are your backbone anchors. Coventry on X2 adds structural value. West Brom and Oxford deliver strong away edges. Middle matches (7 and 9) are where spreads add safety.

Betting Types Explained

The 1X2 System – Classic Match Result

This is the standard bet used in soccer betting and all Soccer Pools. You choose the outcome after 90 minutes:

  • 1 – Home team to win
  • X – Draw
  • 2 – Away team to win

Singles, Doubles & Triple Bets

Sometimes it’s safer to back more than one possible result in a single match. These are known as double or triple bets. They offer more coverage, but cost more per line.

Triple Chance Bets are only available in Soccer Pools-style games and lock that leg of your bet.

Double Chance Bets are widely used in normal sports betting and combo tickets.

Double Chance Betting

This option covers two outcomes at once – ideal when you’re unsure but want insurance:

  • 1X – Home win or Draw
  • X2 – Draw or Away win
  • 12 – Home win or Away win (no draw)

Triple Chance Betting

This bet covers all three outcomes (1X2) and closes that leg on your coupon:

1X2 – Any result will land (home/draw/away)

Banker Bets & Codes

Bankers are selections with the strongest stats – picks with the highest chance of success.

Often used in multiple bet combos (accas), they anchor your ticket while others bring the odds.

Note: more legs = higher risk, but also a higher payout!

Smart punters mix solid wins, double chances, and total goals to build a balanced slip.

Over / Under Goals – O/U Explained

You bet on how many total goals will be scored by both teams (90 mins only – no extra time or penalties).

Over Goals (O/):

  • Over 0.5 – 1+ goal total
  • Over 1.5 – 2 or more goals
  • Over 2.5 – 3 or more goals
  • Over 3.5 – 4 or more goals
  • Over 4.5 – 5 or more goals

Under Goals (U/):

  • Under 0.5 – goalless match (0-0)
  • Under 1.5 – max 1 goal total
  • Under 2.5 – max 2 goals
  • Under 3.5 – max 3 goals
  • Under 4.5 – max 4 goals

Both Teams To Score (BTTS)

One of the most popular markets in South Africa.

  • BTTS – Yes: both teams must score
  • BTTS – No: one or both teams fail to score
