Match Insights and Analysis – Soccer 13 – S13 V1

  • Arsenal vs Wolves: Arsenal should control the match with possession and chance volume. Wolves lack structure away from home.
  • Burnley vs Fulham: Burnley look fragile in transitions. Fulham carry more pace and creativity.
  • Liverpool vs Brighton: Liverpool at home produce high tempo and scoring chances. Brighton dangerous but inconsistent.
  • Chelsea vs Everton: Chelsea defend better but Everton can hurt them with direct attacks. Safer to cover with 1X.
  • Birmingham vs Charlton: Birmingham unstable in midfield. Charlton more balanced and patient.
  • Coventry vs Bristol City: Bristol arrive in strong form and more confident in attack.
  • Leicester vs Ipswich: Leicester play with control and intensity. Ipswich dangerous but not consistent enough to steal points here.
  • Middlesbrough vs QPR: Boro struggle defensively. QPR in better physical shape and more organised off the ball.
  • Millwall vs Hull: Millwall solid, compact and efficient. Hull in poor rhythm.
  • Portsmouth vs Blackburn: Portsmouth stronger at home. Blackburn look too passive in the final third.
  • Wrexham vs Watford: Wrexham improving but Watford’s quality in wide areas gives them the edge.
  • Barnsley vs Leyton Orient: Barnsley produce more chances and look sharper in finishing.
  • Stockport vs Stevenage: Stockport lack consistency. Stevenage more disciplined and reliable.

Summary: Strong anchors are M1, M3 and M9. Medium-risk fixtures include M4, M5, M7 and M11. High volatility matches are M10 and M13. Consider broader coverage across Championship ties where form swings are common.

Betting Types Explained

The 1X2 System – Classic Match Result

This is the standard bet used in soccer betting and all Soccer Pools. You choose the outcome after 90 minutes:

  • 1 – Home team to win
  • X – Draw
  • 2 – Away team to win

Singles, Doubles & Triple Bets

Sometimes it’s safer to back more than one possible result in a single match. These are known as double or triple bets. They offer more coverage, but cost more per line.

Triple Chance Bets are only available in Soccer Pools-style games and lock that leg of your bet.

Double Chance Bets are widely used in normal sports betting and combo tickets.

Double Chance Betting

This option covers two outcomes at once – ideal when you’re unsure but want insurance:

  • 1X – Home win or Draw
  • X2 – Draw or Away win
  • 12 – Home win or Away win (no draw)

Triple Chance Betting

This bet covers all three outcomes (1X2) and closes that leg on your coupon:

1X2 – Any result will land (home/draw/away)

Banker Bets & Codes

Bankers are selections with the strongest stats – picks with the highest chance of success.

Often used in multiple bet combos (accas), they anchor your ticket while others bring the odds.

Note: more legs = higher risk, but also a higher payout!

Smart punters mix solid wins, double chances, and total goals to build a balanced slip.

Over / Under Goals – O/U Explained

You bet on how many total goals will be scored by both teams (90 mins only – no extra time or penalties).

Over Goals (O/):

  • Over 0.5 – 1+ goal total
  • Over 1.5 – 2 or more goals
  • Over 2.5 – 3 or more goals
  • Over 3.5 – 4 or more goals
  • Over 4.5 – 5 or more goals

Under Goals (U/):

  • Under 0.5 – goalless match (0-0)
  • Under 1.5 – max 1 goal total
  • Under 2.5 – max 2 goals
  • Under 3.5 – max 3 goals
  • Under 4.5 – max 4 goals

Both Teams To Score (BTTS)

One of the most popular markets in South Africa.

  • BTTS – Yes: both teams must score
  • BTTS – No: one or both teams fail to score
