An elite European coupon dominated by draws and powerful away performances. Three consecutive stalemates at the top of the card immediately filtered the pool, while Arsenal and Manchester City delivered authoritative wins that rewarded form-driven selections. Benfica’s home success was the lone stabilising favourite. With heavyweight clashes producing fine margins and limited home dominance, the pool remained competitive but selective, settling on a solid mid-range dividend.

Net Pool: R176,794.56
Winning Combination: 1/2/2/1/3/3
Status: Official
Winners: 63
Dividend: R2,806.20

A balanced domestic coupon shaped by two draws in the middle of the card. Bristol City and Derby fixtures produced predictable stalemates, while Ipswich provided a key home anchor. Strong away wins by Walsall and Blackpool proved decisive late breakers, eliminating conservative tickets. With form largely respected but margins occasionally sharp, the dividend reflected a well-measured but unforgiving pool.

Status: Official
Winners: 126
Dividend: R2,198.40

A ruthless international coupon dominated by away wins. Five visiting teams delivered victories, including standout performances from Ajax, Copenhagen and Lyon, which shattered most home-biased tickets. Chelsea Women’s emphatic 6–0 win was the sole home anchor and the only moment of stability. With attacking intent rewarded across the board and minimal margin for error, the pool produced a firm but well-earned dividend.

Betting Types Explained

The 1X2 System – Classic Match Result

This is the standard bet used in soccer betting and all Soccer Pools. You choose the outcome after 90 minutes:

  • 1 – Home team to win
  • X – Draw
  • 2 – Away team to win

Singles, Doubles & Triple Bets

Sometimes it’s safer to back more than one possible result in a single match. These are known as double or triple bets. They offer more coverage, but cost more per line.

Triple Chance Bets are only available in Soccer Pools-style games and lock that leg of your bet.

Double Chance Bets are widely used in normal sports betting and combo tickets.

Double Chance Betting

This option covers two outcomes at once – ideal when you’re unsure but want insurance:

  • 1X – Home win or Draw
  • X2 – Draw or Away win
  • 12 – Home win or Away win (no draw)

Triple Chance Betting

This bet covers all three outcomes (1X2) and closes that leg on your coupon:

1X2 – Any result will land (home/draw/away)

Banker Bets & Codes

Bankers are selections with the strongest stats – picks with the highest chance of success.

Often used in multiple bet combos (accas), they anchor your ticket while others bring the odds.

Note: more legs = higher risk, but also a higher payout!

Smart punters mix solid wins, double chances, and total goals to build a balanced slip.

Over / Under Goals – O/U Explained

You bet on how many total goals will be scored by both teams (90 mins only – no extra time or penalties).

Over Goals (O/):

  • Over 0.5 – 1+ goal total
  • Over 1.5 – 2 or more goals
  • Over 2.5 – 3 or more goals
  • Over 3.5 – 4 or more goals
  • Over 4.5 – 5 or more goals

Under Goals (U/):

  • Under 0.5 – goalless match (0-0)
  • Under 1.5 – max 1 goal total
  • Under 2.5 – max 2 goals
  • Under 3.5 – max 3 goals
  • Under 4.5 – max 4 goals

Both Teams To Score (BTTS)

One of the most popular markets in South Africa.

  • BTTS – Yes: both teams must score
  • BTTS – No: one or both teams fail to score
