Betting Opens: Mon 29 Dec
Closes: Tue 30 Dec 21:30
Current Pool: R1,279.00
Pool Code: 6FF

This Soccer 6 coupon leans heavily into top-flight matchups where form trends and game state matter as much as raw quality. Several teams come in with clear momentum signals, but there are also a few fixtures where recent results suggest volatility and draw potential. The predictions below balance outright outcomes with sensible protection on the tighter games, using form indicators to separate strong anchors from matches that can swing late on small details like finishing, discipline and tactical control. Expect a mix of controlled, low-margin wins and one or two fixtures where both teams have enough attacking threat to trade goals.

⚽ Match Insights and Analysis – Soccer 6 – S6 V2 P2

  • Burnley vs Newcastle United: Both sides show inconsistency, but Burnley look more stable at home while Newcastle have dropped points in two of their last three. Double chance on the home side fits a tight, low-margin game.
  • Chelsea vs Bournemouth: Chelsea have the higher ceiling, yet their recent form suggests they can concede chances. Bournemouth have been scraping results, so 1X with BTTS is a balanced angle.
  • Nottingham Forest vs Everton: Forest’s recent losses make them hard to trust, while Everton’s form leans toward draws and controlled games. X2 protects against another narrow Forest slip.
  • West Ham United vs Brighton-HA: West Ham arrive in poor form, while Brighton have been hard to beat but keep landing on draws. X2 is the sensible cover, with goals likely managed rather than chaotic.
  • Arsenal vs Aston Villa: This is the headline fixture: both teams are in strong form and capable of scoring. Arsenal at home get the edge on protection, but Villa’s momentum keeps the draw live.
  • Manchester United vs Wolverhampton: Wolves come in on a losing run and often struggle for control against higher-tempo sides. United should have enough quality to take the points if they start well.

This pool is built around two core anchors: Manchester United at home and Brighton avoiding defeat against a struggling West Ham. The highest-variance match is Arsenal vs Aston Villa, where form on both sides supports BTTS and a protected 1X line. Burnley vs Newcastle and Forest vs Everton are the tricky ones, so the approach prioritises safety through double chance rather than forcing a tight 1X2 call.

Betting Types Explained

The 1X2 System – Classic Match Result

This is the standard bet used in soccer betting and all Soccer Pools. You choose the outcome after 90 minutes:

  • 1 – Home team to win
  • X – Draw
  • 2 – Away team to win

Singles, Doubles & Triple Bets

Sometimes it’s safer to back more than one possible result in a single match. These are known as double or triple bets. They offer more coverage, but cost more per line.

Triple Chance Bets are only available in Soccer Pools-style games and lock that leg of your bet.

Double Chance Bets are widely used in normal sports betting and combo tickets.

Double Chance Betting

This option covers two outcomes at once – ideal when you’re unsure but want insurance:

  • 1X – Home win or Draw
  • X2 – Draw or Away win
  • 12 – Home win or Away win (no draw)

Triple Chance Betting

This bet covers all three outcomes (1X2) and closes that leg on your coupon:

1X2 – Any result will land (home/draw/away)

Banker Bets & Codes

Bankers are selections with the strongest stats – picks with the highest chance of success.

Often used in multiple bet combos (accas), they anchor your ticket while others bring the odds.

Note: more legs = higher risk, but also a higher payout!

Smart punters mix solid wins, double chances, and total goals to build a balanced slip.

Over / Under Goals – O/U Explained

You bet on how many total goals will be scored by both teams (90 mins only – no extra time or penalties).

Over Goals (O/):

  • Over 0.5 – 1+ goal total
  • Over 1.5 – 2 or more goals
  • Over 2.5 – 3 or more goals
  • Over 3.5 – 4 or more goals
  • Over 4.5 – 5 or more goals

Under Goals (U/):

  • Under 0.5 – goalless match (0-0)
  • Under 1.5 – max 1 goal total
  • Under 2.5 – max 2 goals
  • Under 3.5 – max 3 goals
  • Under 4.5 – max 4 goals

Both Teams To Score (BTTS)

One of the most popular markets in South Africa.

  • BTTS – Yes: both teams must score
  • BTTS – No: one or both teams fail to score
