⚽ Match Results Analysis – Soccer 10 – S10 V3
- Match 1: Ascoli 1-1 Palermo. Ascoli and Palermo began the Soccer 10 round with a 1-1 draw, immediately introducing the first successful 2 into the winning combination. Both teams found the net once, but neither produced the additional goal necessary to secure victory. The result was consistent with the closely matched pre-match form records, as both clubs had entered unbeaten across their three displayed fixtures. Ascoli were unable to convert home advantage into a win, while Palermo extended their resistance to defeat with another level outcome. The two-goal total made this a relatively restrained opening compared with the more productive fixtures that followed. This draw was particularly important because the next eight matches all ended with outright winners. Successful entries therefore needed to avoid assuming that the home-winning pattern would begin immediately. The opening draw became one of only two level results on the entire panel, with the other arriving in the final Sevilla fixture.
- Match 2: Bristol Rovers 2-0 Cambridge United. Bristol Rovers recorded a convincing 2-0 home victory against Cambridge United, delivering the first successful 1 of the coupon. Two unanswered goals gave the hosts a comfortable winning margin, while Cambridge failed to produce a scoring response. The outcome was noteworthy because Bristol Rovers had entered with a weaker displayed recent record, collecting only one point compared with Cambridge United’s four. Despite that difference, the home team secured a clear victory and kept a clean sheet. This result demonstrated the limitations of relying exclusively on short-term form when predicting individual matches. Cambridge were unable to convert their stronger recent performances into a positive away result, while Bristol Rovers established a two-goal advantage. The success also began a sequence of three consecutive home victories, which continued with Hamburger SV and Standard Liege. Bristol’s clean sheet made this one of the two home wins in which the visitors failed to score.
- Match 3: Hamburger SV 3-1 Borussia M’gladbach. Hamburger SV produced a convincing 3-1 victory against Borussia Monchengladbach, securing the second consecutive home result. Hamburg scored three times and finished two goals ahead, while Gladbach managed a single reply. The result was particularly significant because the hosts had entered the fixture after three consecutive defeats, whereas Borussia Monchengladbach possessed considerably stronger recent form. Hamburg nevertheless reversed that disadvantage with an emphatic performance on the scoreboard. The four-goal total made this one of the more productive fixtures of the round and introduced a scoreline that would reappear three more times. Gladbach’s goal prevented a clean sheet but did not meaningfully reduce the final margin. The successful 1 highlighted the risk of treating an unbeaten visiting side as a dependable outright winner. Hamburg’s result was one of the clearest examples of home advantage overcoming an unfavourable recent-form comparison on this coupon.
- Match 4: Standard Liege 3-0 SK Beveren. Standard Liege extended the home-winning sequence to three matches with a commanding 3-0 victory against SK Beveren. The hosts scored three unanswered goals, establishing the largest home-winning margin of the round. Beveren failed to find the net, leaving Standard with a comfortable success rather than a narrow result that depended on a single decisive goal. The successful 1 was also noteworthy because both teams had entered with identical four-point returns across their displayed recent matches. The final result showed that equally balanced form records did not necessarily lead to an even contest on the scoreboard. Standard combined a productive attacking return with defensive effectiveness, securing one of the strongest home performances of the coupon. With four matches completed, the sequence contained one opening draw followed by three successive home victories. Standard’s clean sheet also proved to be the last clean-sheet win, as the remaining outright matches all featured scoring from both teams.
- Match 5: Oxford City 2-4 Leicester City. Leicester City delivered the only away victory of the Soccer 10 round with an impressive 4-2 success against Oxford City. The visitors scored four times and finished two goals ahead, while Oxford contributed twice to the six-goal encounter. This was the highest-scoring match on the coupon, and Leicester’s four goals represented the largest individual attacking total. The successful 3 interrupted three consecutive home victories and became the only visiting selection in the official combination. Oxford City’s two goals demonstrated an ability to contribute offensively, but Leicester’s greater scoring output ensured a clear final advantage. The result also matched the two-goal winning margin recorded by several home teams, although it contained more goals overall. For Soccer 10 entries, Leicester’s victory was particularly important because the panel otherwise heavily rewarded home selections. Correctly identifying the sole away winner was essential for achieving a perfect 10/10 result.
- Match 6: Toulouse 3-1 Strasbourg. Toulouse restored the home-winning pattern with a convincing 3-1 victory against Strasbourg. The hosts scored three times and established a two-goal advantage, while Strasbourg’s single goal was insufficient to challenge the final outcome. The result matched Hamburger SV’s earlier 3-1 success in both scoreline and winning margin. Toulouse’s successful 1 began another sequence of home victories that continued through Everton’s match at M9. Four goals were recorded overall, making this one of the seven fixtures in which both teams scored. Toulouse converted home advantage into an outright success after Leicester’s away victory had briefly interrupted the hosts’ dominance. Strasbourg were unable to turn their attacking contribution into a draw, and the final score provided a clear winner. The result strengthened the emerging pattern in which teams scoring three goals at home were consistently securing victory, with Derby County and Everton later producing identical outcomes.
- Match 7: Venezia 2-1 Udinese. Venezia defeated Udinese 2-1 in the narrowest outright victory of the round. The hosts scored twice and finished one goal ahead, while Udinese’s reply made the final margin competitive. This result was significant because Venezia had entered after three consecutive defeats, making their home success a notable improvement on the displayed recent form. The successful 1 extended the renewed home-winning sequence to two matches, following Toulouse’s victory against Strasbourg. Unlike most of the other winning teams, Venezia secured their result by only one goal, meaning a single additional Udinese goal would have produced a draw. The three-goal total was also lower than the surrounding fixtures, which featured several four-goal matches. Venezia’s ability to secure victory demonstrated how a team with weak recent results could still produce the decisive performance required on match day. Udinese finished behind despite scoring once, leaving the hosts with the full result.
- Match 8: Derby County 3-1 Bolton Wanderers. Derby County recorded a convincing 3-1 home victory against Bolton Wanderers, extending the sequence of home successes to three consecutive matches. The hosts scored three times and finished with a two-goal advantage, while Bolton contributed one goal without preventing defeat. Derby’s result matched the exact scoreline previously recorded by Hamburger SV and Toulouse, making 3-1 an increasingly prominent pattern on the coupon. The victory was also noteworthy because Derby had entered without a win across their displayed three-match form sequence. Their decisive home success therefore represented a substantial improvement compared with those earlier results. Bolton were unable to convert their recent winning experience into a positive away outcome. Derby’s successful 1 added another home selection to the combination and maintained the trend of victories by teams that had not necessarily possessed the stronger pre-match form. The result also ensured that the final three matches would determine whether home dominance continued uninterrupted.
- Match 9: Everton 3-1 Coventry City. Everton defeated Coventry City 3-1, completing four consecutive home victories from M6 through M9. The hosts scored three times and established a comfortable two-goal winning margin, while Coventry’s single reply could not change the outcome. This was the fourth 3-1 result on the coupon, matching Hamburger SV, Toulouse and Derby County. Everton’s success was consistent with their stronger displayed recent form, which included two victories compared with Coventry’s one. The home side converted that advantage into a decisive performance and delivered the seventh successful 1 overall. Coventry managed to score but remained two goals behind, continuing the pattern of visiting teams finding the net without being able to secure points. By the end of M9, seven home victories and one away win had been recorded alongside the opening draw. Everton’s result left the final Sevilla match as the only remaining opportunity for another level result.
- Match 10: Sevilla 0-0 Deportivo Alaves. Sevilla and Deportivo Alaves completed the Soccer 10 coupon with a goalless draw, providing the second successful 2. Neither side scored, making this the only match without any goals and the lowest-scoring encounter of the round. Sevilla were unable to extend the sequence of four home victories, while Alaves did not deliver a second away success for the panel. The goalless finish contrasted sharply with Leicester’s six-goal victory and the four separate matches ending 3-1. It also created a distinctive structure in which the coupon began and ended with draws, while every fixture between M2 and M9 produced an outright winner. The result was particularly important because entries that had correctly selected the preceding nine outcomes still needed the final draw to achieve a perfect score. Sevilla’s failure to win completed the official 2/1/1/1/3/1/1/1/1/2 combination, which generated 223 perfect entries.

⚽ Match Results Analysis – Soccer 10 – S10 V2
- Match 1: Gaziantep FK 0-2 Kasimpasa SK. Kasimpasa SK opened the coupon with a convincing 2-0 away victory against Gaziantep FK. The visitors scored twice without conceding, establishing a comfortable two-goal advantage. Gaziantep failed to register a goal at home, leaving Kasimpasa with the first successful 3 of the round. The result was consistent with the visitors’ stronger displayed recent form, which included two wins and a draw compared with Gaziantep’s two defeats and one victory. Kasimpasa converted that advantage into a clear success on the scoreboard, demonstrating both attacking effectiveness and defensive resistance. Unlike several later fixtures, in which hosts controlled the outcome, this match showed that a visiting team could still secure a decisive result despite playing away. The clean sheet made Kasimpasa’s victory particularly important, as it introduced a pattern of scoreless losing teams that would dominate most of the coupon. This was ultimately the only away win among the nine matches with published scores.
- Match 2: Dynamo Dresden 3-0 Greuther Furth. Dynamo Dresden responded to the opening away victory with a commanding 3-0 home success against Greuther Furth. Three unanswered goals provided the hosts with a substantial winning margin, while Furth failed to score. The successful 1 introduced the first home selection and matched the largest winning margin recorded anywhere on the panel. The result was noteworthy because Greuther Furth had entered with a stronger displayed three-match record, winning twice compared with Dresden’s one victory. However, Dresden’s home advantage and broader matchup strength translated into a decisive result, showing that recent points alone did not determine the outcome. The three-goal total was one of the highest on the coupon, later matched by Boulogne and Dunkerque. Dresden’s clean sheet was also significant because it prevented the visitors from mounting any scoring response. After two matches, the round contained one away victory and one home success, both achieved without conceding.
- Match 3: Eintracht Braunschweig 0-0 Energie Cottbus. Eintracht Braunschweig and Energie Cottbus finished in a goalless draw, providing the first successful 2 of the coupon. Neither team scored, and neither secured the decisive advantage required for victory. Braunschweig were unable to convert home conditions into a positive outright result, while Cottbus avoided defeat without producing an away win. The result reflected a balanced matchup between teams that had struggled to demonstrate consistent recent winning form. With no goals recorded, this was the lowest-scoring type of encounter on the panel and the first match in which both teams finished scoreless. It also interrupted the sequence of two clean-sheet victories, although the absence of goals maintained the coupon’s overall defensive character. For successful Soccer 10 entries, the draw was particularly important because the next five matches all ended in home victories. The level result therefore created a necessary change in selection before the combination moved into its longest uninterrupted home-winning sequence.
- Match 4: Silkeborg 1-0 Lyngby. Silkeborg defeated Lyngby 1-0, beginning a run of five consecutive home victories. A single goal separated the teams, and the hosts maintained a clean sheet to preserve their narrow advantage. Lyngby failed to find the equaliser required for a draw, leaving Silkeborg with the successful 1. The result was notable because Lyngby had entered with a stronger displayed recent record, collecting six points compared with Silkeborg’s one. Despite that difference, Silkeborg converted home advantage into victory, providing another example of a short-term form disadvantage being overcome on match day. The one-goal total made this one of the lowest-scoring outright results, matching the later victories recorded by Dijon and Nancy. Silkeborg’s defensive organisation, as reflected in the final score, ensured that a single goal was sufficient. This result also established the start of the coupon’s most distinctive sequence, with every match from M4 through M8 eventually producing a successful home selection.
- Match 5: Boulogne 3-0 FC Annecy. Boulogne extended the home-winning sequence with a convincing 3-0 victory against FC Annecy. The hosts scored three times and maintained a clean sheet, producing one of the strongest results on the panel. Annecy failed to score away from home, leaving Boulogne with a comfortable three-goal advantage. This was the second successful 1 in the developing sequence and matched Dynamo Dresden’s earlier victory in both exact scoreline and winning margin. Unlike Silkeborg’s preceding 1-0 success, Boulogne established a much larger difference, although both home teams prevented their opponents from scoring. The three-goal total made this one of the highest-scoring fixtures among the reported results. Boulogne’s success also reinforced the increasing importance of home selections, with the coupon shifting decisively away from Kasimpasa’s opening visiting victory. For Soccer 10 entries, correctly identifying Boulogne contributed to a five-match run in which every home team secured the required outright result.
- Match 6: Dijon 1-0 Red Star FC 93. Dijon defeated Red Star FC 93 by a narrow 1-0 margin, extending the uninterrupted run of home victories to three matches. The hosts scored the only goal and kept a clean sheet, while Red Star failed to produce the equaliser needed for a draw. The successful 1 reflected the visitors’ disappointing displayed pre-match form, which included three consecutive defeats. Dijon had also struggled for consistency, but their home advantage and one decisive goal were enough to secure a positive result. Compared with Boulogne’s preceding 3-0 victory, this fixture was considerably lower scoring, although the successful selection remained the same. The narrow margin made defensive effectiveness especially important because any Red Star goal would have changed the result. Dijon successfully preserved the advantage and delivered another home outcome. With six matches completed, the coupon had produced four outright home or away victories without conceding, an opening draw and a further clean-sheet home result, highlighting the dominance of scoreless visitors.
- Match 7: Dunkerque 3-0 Guingamp. Dunkerque secured a commanding 3-0 home victory against Guingamp, providing the fourth consecutive successful 1. Three unanswered goals established a comfortable advantage, while the visitors failed to score. The result matched Dynamo Dresden and Boulogne in exact scoreline, creating three separate 3-0 home victories across the coupon. Dunkerque’s performance was particularly notable because Guingamp had entered with a stronger displayed recent winning record, collecting six points compared with the hosts’ four. Nevertheless, Dunkerque secured a convincing success, reinforcing the importance of match-specific performance over a simple comparison of recent results. The three-goal total made this one of the highest-scoring fixtures on the panel, despite only the home team contributing to the score. Guingamp’s failure to find the net maintained the unusual defensive pattern among visiting sides. The result also left Nancy’s upcoming fixture as the final match needed to complete five consecutive home wins.
- Match 8: Nancy 1-0 Sochaux. Nancy completed the run of five consecutive home victories with a narrow 1-0 success against Sochaux. The hosts scored the only goal and maintained a clean sheet, preventing Sochaux from securing an equaliser. The result was consistent with the strongest pre-match form contrast in this section of the coupon, as Nancy had won three consecutive displayed matches while Sochaux had lost all three. However, the final winning margin was only one goal, considerably smaller than the 3-0 victories recorded by Dresden, Boulogne and Dunkerque. Nancy’s successful 1 confirmed that the home teams had won every fixture from M4 through M8. The result also continued the extraordinary sequence of visiting teams failing to score. After eight matches, the only goals had been scored by Kasimpasa in the opener and the home teams in their winning fixtures. Nancy’s clean sheet demonstrated how the coupon’s strong home-winning pattern was supported by defensive consistency rather than high scoring in every match.
- Match 9: Willem II 1-1 PEC Zwolle. Willem II and PEC Zwolle ended the five-match home-winning sequence with a 1-1 draw. Both teams scored once, but neither established the additional goal required for victory. Willem II failed to extend the hosts’ dominant run, while PEC Zwolle secured a draw rather than adding a second away success. The successful 2 was the second level result of the coupon, following Braunschweig’s earlier 0-0 fixture against Energie Cottbus. This was also the only recorded match in which both teams scored, making it a clear exception to the defensive character of the other results. The two-goal total brought the cumulative scoring to sixteen across the nine reported fixtures. For Soccer 10 entries, correctly identifying the draw at M9 was particularly important because the preceding five results had all been home victories. The outcome interrupted that sequence immediately before the final CD Castellon fixture was settled as Field-Field.
- Match 10: CD Castellon vs Eibar – Field-Field. The final fixture between CD Castellon and Eibar was officially recorded as Field-Field, with the winning combination displaying All at M10. No conventional final score was provided in the published pool results shown. Consequently, the position was not settled as a standard home victory, draw or away victory within the displayed winning combination. Instead, all three possible selections were accepted for the final match. This distinction is essential because Field-Field should not be counted as a draw, and no goals should be added to the coupon’s scoring statistics without an official result. The published nine-match score total therefore remains sixteen goals, with M10 excluded from the normal result distribution. For successful entries, the All designation meant the final position did not require selecting one specific outcome, leaving the preceding nine results as the decisive selections. The official combination was completed as 3/1/2/1/1/1/1/1/2/All, producing 47 perfect 10/10 entries and a dividend of R9,870.40 each.

The Friday Soccer 10 V2 pool was defined by defensive dominance and a remarkable sequence of five consecutive home victories. Kasimpasa SK opened with the only away success, defeating Gaziantep FK 2-0, before Dynamo Dresden recorded a convincing 3-0 home victory over Greuther Furth. Braunschweig and Energie Cottbus then finished goalless, after which Silkeborg, Boulogne, Dijon, Dunkerque and Nancy all secured victories without conceding.
